From registration to IB ACTIVE.
Free EA access is bound to the MT5 Trading Account ID and exact MT5 Account Server submitted during registration.
Wait for approval
AOM verifies broker-account eligibility. After approval, your AOM ID and Free EA entitlement become active.
Download the IB package
Use the approved-request status page to obtain the official time-limited EA download package.
Install in MetaTrader 5
Put the EX5 file in MQL5/Experts, restart or refresh MT5, enable Algo Trading, and allow WebRequest for https://aomtraders.com.
Enter your AOM ID
The IB build only needs your AOM ID. MT5 login and server are read automatically from the trading terminal.
Confirm IB ACTIVE
Use the same MT5 account that was registered. A different login or server will not pass Direct EA authorization.
Your MT5 server must match exactly.
Example: Exness-MT5Real20. Do not enter only the broker name. The server name used by the EA is read directly from MetaTrader 5.
- AOM ID identifies the approved AOM customer.
- MT5 login identifies the registered trading account.
- MT5 server prevents the same login from being used on a different server.
Common access messages.
IB ACTIVEAuthorization is active.
SERVER_NOT_REGISTEREDRegistration has no MT5 server. Register again or contact support.
SERVER_MISMATCHThe current MT5 server differs from the approved server.
DIRECT_TOKEN_INVALIDThe previous Direct EA session was revoked; authorize again.
